Fire everywhere burning everything as everyone tries to get out of the way but no matter where they go fire follows as if it has a mind.

Metal Sonic: What happen?

Metal,standing on top of the burnt mountain, not noticing that two lava lizards-esque come to a stealthy position.

Metal Sonic hears a branch being crunched and sees two lizards to attack Metal but Metal dodges and defeats them.

Metal Sonic: Strange sonic never let this happen did he misses something or is he to old to play hero. Got to search him.

Metal Sonic look high and low all around and everywhere and no sign of him in the city. Just as he was about to think he numerous lizards along with golems and lava birds and worms coming to the hospital.

Metal Sonic: Whats going on here? Where is that hedgehog?

Metal retreats and started to look for Sonic even more that is until he gave up something of which he has never had before.

Metal Sonic: if hes not here then where is he.

Metal flies almost all over the entire area till he sees something talking about something.

?: I pray to seize thou destruction villian.
M. S.: What the hell are you talking about?
?: How can a thing talked without moving his lips are you a freak or something.

This make Metal angry and killed him then flies off.

M. S.: Just who was that punk anyways talking about his lame butt-style talk.

Metal Sonic sees a giant monster fighting a hedgehog.

Metal Sonic: Is that Sonic? Maybe I should go and check it out.

Metal flies off as the monster roars in pain as a cat whose has her coat that she wears covers the part of her body that is engulfed by flames. She wears gloves similar to those worn by Sonic, only with fuzzy lining on the cuffs. Her shoes have the same motif as Sonic's, but they also have fuzzy lining and are high-heeled. She also wears a purple coat, lined at the neck with gold (possibly a necklace) and at the bottom with red, and a pair of white tights. She has a ponytail, and a jewel-like red orb is present on her forehead. while he friend a white hedgehog who then can somehow able to lift rocks without touching them with his bare hands in which Metal is amuze of this started to copy their abilities.

Silver: Come on Blaze lets finished this.
Blaze: Right this time Iblis is going down!

Metal was on one of the destroyed buildings as he watches another hedgehog but this one looks like Shadow except a different color and design watches from behind the building.

Iblis picks a building with his two hands trying to squash Blaze and Silver but Blaze uses her fire powers to destroy it making Iblis shriek with anger knowing that Blaze somehow able to use Iblises own fire power few rocks from the destroyed building being picked up by Silver but then tosses over to Iblis's head after a lenghly battle Iblis rock hard head is gone hust revealing his lava head doing the same thing trying to squash Silver and Blaze but he also tries to fried them but all the effort it tried to use failed and got defeated but soon retreated from the battle.

Silver: (Slams his fist on the pole) Darn how can we defeat Iblis on matter how many times we defeat him he gets stronger.
?: By knowing the truth of course.
Silver: Who are you?
Mephiles: Mephiles. Mephiles the Dark. As you can see like the plants comes from the seed and the chicken from the egg everything has an origin.
Silver: What do you... Mean?
Mephiles: Come I'll show you.

Silver, Blaze follows Mephiles but not knowing they were being followed by Metal Sonic.

At the almost destroyed base Metal Sonic goes right in still over over them clinging to the roof as Mephiles explains.

Mephiles: In order to defeat Iblis you have to go back into the past.
Silver: Impossible!
Mephiles: With my help I can take you to the past on the afternoon of the day of the Festival of the Sun. At that time you must kill the 'Iblis Trigger.'
silver: Whose that?
Mephiles: The Iblis Trigger is the one who brought back Iblis from his prison here touch the emerald and see the Iblis Trigger.

Silver touches the emerald and sees Sonic on the flames.

Silver: That him? That Blue hedgehog?
Blaze: Blue... Hedgehog!?
Mephiles: Yes! Lets go back 200 years ago.

Mephiles using his powers to take Blaze and Silver through time in which Metal Sonic thinking that hes lying tries to get to the portal but it closes in front of him. Then he hears something from outside of the room look and see Sonic Knuckles and Tails entered the room thinking he sees ghosts.

Tails: (On the computer but was horrified) Oh no this is bad!
Sonic: What is it?
Tails: It says Elise dies two days after the festival. Due to... Eggmans airship malfunction.
Sonic: If we don't hurry up and get back in time Elise will die and...
Tails: Yeah!

Sonic placing his fist on his open palm and ran out the door. Not know Metal Sonic was in the room.

Metal Sonic: I see Sonic was trying to save this Elise creature how strange indeed maybe I need more info before I head back in time.

Metal type in the words Iblis and Mephiles on the computer as the computer searches but only has one result Project: Solaris. Metal Sonic clicked on it and on the screen everything about the project.

Metal: (Looking at the info and after finishes) Hmm, so this Solaris was a sun god and has the power of time huh but the project was defected 210 years ago maybe I need to go all the way back in time then. Chaos Control to 210 years ago.

210 years ago three days of the accident. (What when I play Sonic adventures 1 & 2 I decided to do that sound effect too you know.)

A man who has  white clothes with a bird like symbol on him was walking with his daughter name Elise not knowing Metal came from the portal enters the room as a candle with a special flame on it as the two look at it. But not knowing Metal was right behind them.

Duke: Look Elise thats the flame of hope.
Elise: It looks pretty.
Duke: Sure does doesn't you see this flame can send us through time rewriting history. Giving humans a second chance.
Elise: Can we even see mama again?
Duke: SUre why not?

Elise and her father walk outside of the room as Elise and her dad seeing teh flame one last time. Metal Sonic seeing the two leaving walk toward the flame stands there and look at it for a while then dissapears.

The day of the accident.

The duke is awaiting for his scientists three scientists was walking down the road leading to the acient castle unaware that Metal Sonic has gotten through the portal.

Half way there one of the scientists decided to take a break after all they have to be there at noon since it was nine already. As the others take a break the one who decided for a break has been grabbed by Metal who was hiding in the alley and put him to sleep that won't wake him till tomorrow. Metal uncovers the mask like as it reveals a young man. Metal Sonic didn't copy his data only transforming into him.

It was 9:30 and they all head out Metal still in disguise follows the group they made inside the ancient castle there inside the lab a huge flame was being studied and the workers seemingly controling it but then suddenly it went out of control.

Scientists: sire, we can't hold it we need to get out of here!
Duke: Why? Why won't you listen to me? Solaris!
Metal Sonic: So thats Solaris huh!?

Metal Sonic dropped his disguise but then Elise run down seeing the machine being overpowered.

Elise: Father!
duke: Elise!
MEtal Sonic: So thats Elise maybe I need to keep an eye on her.

But then a huge explosion and the duke using his body as a shield to protect Elise. Smoke clears as Metal Sonic protect himself using his yellow shield.

Metal Sonic follows the duke who uses his last strength and took her to the whereabouts of the flames sees it then places Elise on the alter and using a Chaos Emerald then Iblis just stood there frozen

Duke: (looked at teh Chaos Emerald) Flames of the Royal family I cast you down upon my only childs body.

The flames went down into Elises body making Metal understands evverything now but the duke collaspe seeing his daughter one last time.

Duke: What ever you do Elise you must never cry no matter what happens otherwise the flames will be unleashed.

Duke suck in his last breath Metal flies towards the two reading the Dukes body readings turns out his life has been flatline. Then went to see Elise whose life is at normal stats. He picks her up and carry outside and places her down into the ground and places her back in front of the tree.

Metal sonic: This girl... Her future will be... (Eyes soon change into green) Bright. (Soon changes back into his red eyes self.)

The day of the dukes funeral and it was raining.

Elise was there sitting in the bench seeing her fathers casket as it was taken from the church and headed stright foward the cementary. Her nanny steps foward.

Granny: ELise what do you like to do now? Wanna go home?

Elise didn't say anything but nodded.

Granny: Okay lets go home then.

At the castle Elise plays with her toys but stops and she remembers her father last words and tries to get it hold together Metal Sonic was outside of Elises room when it was still raining Metal Sonic just look at her and follows her everywhere.

Metal Sonic: If I keep my eye on her for the next ten years I will end this once and for all.

Ten years has been passed now.

Fireworks started flaring up bunch of people were cheering as a boat crosses the water and Elise who become a big girl now waves to her people but Metal Sonic watches from atop of the boat seeing seven girls dancing around not knowing he was right there.

The boat made its way towards the alter Elise walks up to the circle floor as the preist hands her the torch and Elise shooking her head.

Anna: You okay?
Elise: Yeah!

Elise takes a deep breath and begins a prayer after that she lits the flame and the giant torch is being lit but then missiles appear and strikes the alter after that humaniod robots appears pointing their guns to Elise and everyone. Then eggman appears.

Eggman: Welcome Princess of Soleanna my name is dr. Eggman I'm here to take the Flames of Disasterfrom you including that Chaos Emerald now if you please walk here.

Elise shook her head and walk backwards but then a blue wind appears knocking few humaniod robots.

Sonic: My that a snazzy performance.
EggmanL: Sonic! Not you again you blue rat.
sonic: Gahh! I'm am not a rat a hedgehog a hedgehog dang Doc have you lost few of your I.Q. or something.
Eggman: shut up you. Fire at Sonic but not the princess.

Sonic moves everywheres striking all of the humaniods robots then made his way toward to Elise.

Sonic: Sonics the name speeds my game.

But just as he was about to escape with the princess few humanoid robots appears but then got destroyed by lighting bolt as everyone including Sonic, Elise and Eggman and the other robots looks up seeing Metal Sonic looking down as his eyes glows brightly.
